Privacy Policy

This is a practical starter privacy notice for OpenHome. It is not legal advice. Final wording should be reviewed before public marketing launch.

What we collect

OpenHome collects information you submit through the service, including when you create an account, submit a listing, send an enquiry or offer, place a shop order, or contact us.

That may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, property or product details, messages, and related account information needed to operate the platform.

How we use information

Private information is used to operate OpenHome — for example to show listings, deliver enquiries and offers to the right contacts, process shop orders, send transactional emails, and support accounts.

Private seller and customer information is not meant to be publicly exposed. Public listing pages are intended to show only approved public fields.

Who can access information

OpenHome administrators may access information for support, safety, moderation, and day-to-day operation of the service. Agents and agency staff may see information related to listings and leads they are authorised to manage.

Payments and email

  • Payment processing is handled through Stripe. OpenHome does not store full card details. Shop checkout remains in Stripe test mode until live payments are explicitly approved — do not treat test checkout as a real purchase.
  • Transactional and operational emails are sent through Resend.
